What everyone should be able to agree on is payment processor PayPal. They shouldn't be able to behave in that manner, under the Fair Credit and lending practices that Bill Clinton signed into law. I'm pretty sure there are multiple legal arguments for why PayPal can't discriminate against a vendor for the views the vendor holds (that which have nothing to do with the PayPal transactions at all. The goods being sold via InfoWars do not violate policy.) This one is actually quite a big boy, and nobody is talking about it. Everyone is focused on private newspapers (facebook, twitter, apple) banning him from their printing presses. The real giant is the PayPal ban.

If a bank or credit lender can discriminate based on alleged political viewpoints-- the genocide that Mick is talking about is actually possible. The PayPal is a test balloon to see if other so-called "payment processors" (aka banks and credit agencies) will be able to behave in a similar manner.

I'm sure the posts were edgy as edgy can be, but this particular company promotes near-absolute freedom of expression. It sounds hyperbolic, but it gives you a glimpse into a future that is a form of corporate tyranny. Why would the government need to silence political dissidents when they could have the private sector do it for them? They outsource everything else already.

It's time to let the internet normalize.
DOJ suing Cali for making their own net neutrality regulations for ISPs that want to do business there. Feds don't care about the free exchange of information, ideas, or online services. They're claiming its allll interstate commerce.

but now you see, you get it. lets TRY something instead of talking about not doing something, meanwhile our internet still sucks.
fuck it republicans will create a free market where internet companies are encouraged to compete and we'll likely see a rise in the quality of our infistructure over the next 10 years. if not and we get this apocalypse that the libs are always talking about then boo hoo just pirate shit and dont get caught, and the free market will stabilize again or even better it will have proved that the internet needs another policy.
