Actually, what’s up with bans in this place anyways? Any other game or forum I have been a part of there are suspensions and bans. People are never truly banned here they are just suspended. .....Why?

My guess is that Rogean, as an IT person himself, knows there's no good way to truly ban a person. You can ban their email address, but they can easily get a new one. You can ban their IP address, or heck, you can even ban their entire ISP ... but all they need to do to get around that is use a VPN.

So instead of fighting a losing battle to try and prevent someone from coming back (and failing anyway) I think they just figure that people make mistakes and will learn lessons. If someone is truly a problem (eg. the tranny porn poster) they do get more serious though.
