Default Paladin Deity Choice

Outside of personal choice.......
Is there any items in Kunark/Velious that might be better for a paladin depending on deity choice?

I prefer to start out in Qeynos but for some reason I was thinking that Mith Marr had some kind of gear options that were better down the line. I've tried looking it up but haven't had any luck.

Tunare Paladins have the option to go for Nature's Defender when Velious launches.

I always thought the coolest was Prexus the Oceanlord and the Deepwater Knights - no benefits aside from a cool name and begging for ultravision.

At a cost of 5k, I'd call the Shield of the Stalwart Seas an advantage for the Erudites as well.

35 AC on a shield isn't topped untill VP if I remember right.

to be fair to the original claim, these items are not deity specific - they are race specific.

ND is diety specific; a half-elf has the ability to follow Mith Marr and a couple others.
