Searching for some kind of conspiracy about why she's in Taiwan is so typical of these forums. As for the disconnect between Pelosi and the White House, this kind of approach has been standard procedure for decades when it comes to Taiwan. Take some action that undermines China, while publicly stating support for the status quo. How is this not understood by now?

If she went down there solely to antagonize china dont you think that is a little reckless? Especially at this time? Or is war fantastic?

Xi Xinping isn't an idiot. He doesn't have the hubris of Putin. An all-out war with the US would cripple China and he'd likely lose his grip on power once the peasants see weakness and revolt. He's not gonna risk that.
