Shadows do enhance the look of the game beyond just what hits the ground, but god it looks ugly when a shadow goes over a ledge.

Just did this myself tonight. It quite good and tasteful. I'm all for the classic immersion... but some of the smudged textures and blurriness I can handle missing out on :P Great job !

1.) Back-up all current .s3d files in your Everquest folder (sort file types by using details view in windows)
2.) Download this: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=YDIFVCGZ
3.) extract RAR to EQ folder C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest (rewrite all)

and you're done! easy right?
I am confused. After extracting the RAR to the EQ folder, do I then put the backed up .s3d files into the folder? If not, then why do I back them up?

You back them up in case something goes wrong.
