Please vote for my local animal rescue group!
Please vote for this animal rescue group to win a grant up to $5,000. Search for "Have a Heart Save a Life" in Georgia.
The rescue group is run by one woman who puts pretty much all her time into it (she may be a little crazy but she has a huge heart!) She pulls adoptable dogs and cats from the animal shelter that would otherwise be put down. It would certainly help her out if she had this grant--she pays for vet bills out of pocket and in return asks for a discounted reimbursement of vet fees (usually around $50 rather than the hundreds it can cost to deworm, apply flea/tick meds, spay/neuter, etc.) She also fosters many dogs and cats and finds homes for them without charging an adoption fee. So go vote, please and thank you!
