Default Windows cannot find 'eqgame'

I have installed P99 successfully on my main computer, but on my laptop I keep getting this error code. Did I miss a step somewhere?

On your Everquest shortcut, go into properties and to the Shortcut tab and make sure you have the "Start in" field defined (The directory of your EQ folder) otherwise it may default to system32 and wont be able to find eqgame.exe

Windows cannot find 'eqgame' for me as well, however my shortcut (Launch Titanium) has no "shortcut" tab, in properties there is only General, Security, Details, and Previous Versions tabs. I also get a dos window C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe with an error message- Windows cannot find 'eqgame', make sure you typed the name correctly, and try again.

Does your Launch Titanium have the proper extension? Launch Titanium.bat ?

Your launch titanium.bat file probably only has "start eqgame patchme" in it.

Windows doesn't know where to find eqgame, what directory did you install everquest into?

I am glad you had a fresh reply, Ashintar. I am having a similar issue.

I can run the client through eqgame.exe with a patchme added. My directory is S:\Games\EQP99\eqgame.exe patchme

Target is
S:\Games\EQP99.

The .bat only has the line of text inside like you said. Secondly, what does the .bat to vs just running a shortcut of eqgame?

Originally I came looking for help with flickering UI elements / chat box in fullscreen. You would not also know anything about that, would you? Or anyone else? If not, I'll search further then make a post if that search yields no response. I have checked compatibility but that did not help.

I thank anyone who replies for their time.
