Mercedes have incredible interiors and I hear they have some of the most elite and advanced tech, but don’t they have reliability concerns these days? Most everything I’ve read has them ranked middle to lower end of the pack in reliability scores.
Edit: Mazda is a brand that deserves a positive mention.

I assume for the Off-Topic crowd we're voting on who made the best cars 10+ years ago?
Very happy with my Volvo. Feature for feature I think it's the best deal for a European luxury car.

More mazda's race on sunday than any other car maker. Mazda has real pedigree for racing. All the miatas and mx5's are ready to hit the track, right now. They are really something. Its like you're sitting on the back axle, very go-cart like. I should have added them. They kinda fall under ford though. Mazda and ford were together until 2015, now its doing its own thing as its own entity.

Its not really a competition when it comes to Toyota vs others for competitive products. Unfortunately Toyota doesn't make a suburban length vehicle (only tahoe length) and the don't make 3/4 and 1 ton trucks, or duallys.
But anything they do make is superior. The transmissions very very seldom fail vs regularly fail and the engines are the same. Chevrolet trucks are easy and affordable to fix, but a high miles toyota truck seldom needs anything besides oil changes and basic wear and tear and a chevy will have needed a fuel pump, a tranny or two, maybe an new engine to get to 300k.
