Gnome Friendlies Attack When Attacking Spiders/Spiderlings in Steamfont
When attacking spiders or spiderlings in Steamfont and training one to the entrance I was attacked by the Cargo Clockwork.. The guards, however, did not attack me.
After exiting and attacking another spiderling in the newbie area directly to the left of the entrance I was attacked by a NPC named "Zondo Hyzill". This NPC was nowhere around me, yet I was attacked with spells and then hit with melee. When I retrieved my body there were no NPCs around. I'm unsure if this will help, but I've uploaded a screenshot of my combat log. Upon reading through it looks like, perhaps, he started attacking me when I re-entered Steamfont Mountains.

I just realized the picture I uploaded was downsized to almost nothing, making he combat log worthless. Sorry about that.

As of today this bug still exists even in the new Green server. Just happened to me again.

From memory:
Zondo is on a different faction than the other gnomes. He likes clockwork things and is affected by killing clockworks. I do remember only being able to kill a specific type of clockwork npc in order to not be kos to Zondo eventually. However training any clockworks to the windmill area was certain to get you killed by rondo. I have some vague association of spiderlings with this mechanic but I really want to say it was only the clockwork spiders. However it could have been a chain of events... spiderling is social with cargo spider who is linked with zondo. 100% though dragging a clockwork anything to windmills was just asking to get zondo wrath

This isn't a bug, I looked it up before and it's classic. Cargo Clockworks are friendly with spiders. You can use this fact to single pull the Cargo if you want to kill it for some reason. Train a spider past it.

Cargo Clockwork is friendly with real, living spiders. It's classic.
