Post All Dex into a starting Dwarf Warrior?

Planning on rolling a warrior tank as a Dwarf on Teal and putting all starting stats into dex for a total of 115 base dex. My aim is to have as much proc frequency to counteract the aggro issues this class seems to have based on the topics I've read about. My question is would this be a viable path to my build strategy, or would it be too much of a loss in Stamina during my journey to 60 to be worth doing?

End game aggro is based around clickies (even now in classic you can get nets in perma, i believe) with procs and such just helping to stabilize.

As an FYI, max dex is generally believed to increase your procs from 1/min (base, standard) to 2/min. So it's up to you to decide how useful that is when on average you will only proc once or twice a fight anyways.

I've never heard of a raiding Warrior player ever say they made a mistake going max Stamina.

Dorf stamina all the way. Only Ogre has spare points IMO.

Warriors don't have aggro problems, it's everyone else. The amount of sheer incompetency out there is staggering right now. I had a pug where the Necro would just fear stuff off the tank then everyone is chasing it, had a Chanter sit down to get aggro so pet would attack and meanwhile they needed healing every fight, had the Bard keep attacking after drawing aggro while yelling for help, it's just nuts.

Teach your casters to keep your target rooted and stay toe to toe. Anyone draws aggro, kick them [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I went full dex on my 60 dwarf warrior and have never regretted it. I will cap 255 stamina raid buffed with few minor upgrades and by no means am I superbly well geared.

Hitting 255 dex with just focus is a huge boon and that higher proc rate while leveling was incredibly useful.

Clicky procs give you a jump start but on a long fight your weapon procs are what will keep you in the lead.

Warriors have the best stamina-to-HP coefficient in the game. If there's any class that truly warrants putting all of your starting points into stamina, it's warrior.

My 2 cents..

If you plan to take this warrior all the to end game velious raiding (regardless of race)
Put all your bonus points into DEX

You'll thank me later

Go max stamina. In groups use root tanking and stand closest in raids use aggro clicke.

It was at this point I decided to no longer be kind to the casuals as they have extreme short term memory. They did this to themselves, unfortunately.
