its pretty absurdly obvious the pop went up because of the changes and nothing to do with global ooc. it is so pathetically obvious the server needs global ooc. either this is the staff trying to kill the server or an unbelievable oversight

Unpopular opinion here but I think exp is too fast at the lower levels now (1-40 at least).

Went to sleep last night (level 35) and now some of my friends who were 32 and 33 are now 45+.

yeah, and that has nothing to do with the 290% bonus xp.

you gave us global ooc, but no incentive to use it for anything other then griefing.

global ooc will be great combined with the group bonus xp.

the box feels empty and no one will sit in cities and LFG they will try to solo in dungeons and while looking for groups

24 hours in to the changes and the tears are already streaming. Cry for weeks about exp. Cry about losing status in server select. Cry about population. Then changes go in, and cry about the changes. Get the fuck off the box

I can't tell you how many fresh blue recruits I lost while doing RD due to the toxicity of global ooc. It's removal was a needed and welcome change.

Thank you for help last night Aussie. Global ooc is nice because even with low population, it gives me a sense of population. From my brief red experience. Will be on again tonight. Also going to try and pull some guys still playing on Zek Live.

I wont miss ooc. Some of it really is cringey. But the server WILL feel kind of empty without it.

Give it a few weeks to see, at least.

I think that's a fair statement.

Armchair quarterbacking in full effect already, so many lols.

I wish someone would put up a pvp server with all of these vague rulesets everyone seems to cry for / cry against. What? You had one called VZTZ XX.XX?? How'd that work out?

Oh.. right. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Regardless of where you are in the world, you will usually have someone to talk to.

Originally, we were going to just have city-ooc and not link zones at all - but this was an alternative that seemed to be between the two extremes.

Bottom line? We were tired of global-ooc:

Can't tell you how many times the staff has heard this echo'd from players leaving the server.

Give this new system some time to see how it works. There will be a lot more people on the box this next week - it will feel far less empty than you think! We haven't even started advertising on Blue yet [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
