Invsibility Hides Particles
I've noticed through my work with spell effects that when anybody hides or goes invisible, all associated particles with that character disappear.
This creates some bad visuals such as the gating effect poofing instead of finishing the animation. You probably can see it with see invisible; however, particles shouldn't be hidden. I am not sure if this is a client or server issue since it's dealing with an important mechanic. If it's client I can try to look into it; otherwise, maybe you guys can find something out.

Bump. Maybe Haynar has an idea about this one.
I was reminded of this bug when I was adding the large center bubble to the Invisibility spell target effect and 3 new classic effects to the end of group portal spells. Players won't even be able to see the effects for more than a second unless they have See Invisible on. :/

Does this mean if it was fixed you would be able to see bard songs even if bard is invisible next to you?

Moving to resolved as this is a client limitation

@Telin I really am interested in this. Is it possible to edit the source code for this to be fixed? Seems like a struct issue that I can take a look at? I am aware that classic trilogy had this normally, but titanium kind of bugged it.

Was there any update to this?
I've been studying the source files for a while and found out that in a players class/structure, the object is destroyed when invisibility or port successfully casts. The particle effects associated with it also gets destroyed. Was there definitive proof that particles remained after these going off? If so, then the effects need a closer look because I'm narrowing down the culprit and I feel like I might be on to something. I suppose I should mention this in eqemu forums as well...
