Default Coldain Faction?

What's the quickest way to raise up Coldain faction for armor MQ? Buy the 55+ Giant Warrior Helmets and turn them in or getting faction off of giants in Kael? Are there certain giants in Kael that give more faction than the others like Statue/AoW does for CoV?

Tag along Ring Wars is the best way tbh.

if you cant afford the helms, and there isn't a ring war happening (which generally 99% of the time there isn't), then tagging at the WL/kael ZL, or at the giant fort in GD, or following some groups throughout kael to 4-way or Arena, or Platehouse, will do just fine. Coldain is a super easy faction to raise, not only because of the variety of available options, but because you only need kindly to complete an MQ.

So outside of buying your way to kindly, or following around a guild in a ring war, your best bet is probably sitting at WL/Kael Zoneline, because most of the time theres a group or a few players factioning there. The faction there is alright, however if you find that there are quite a few players in Kael, or a guild or congregation of players is flocking ti kael , its probably your best bet to ask them where they're headed. If its Platehouse, or 4 way or even Arena, go ahead and ask if you can follow and tag for faction.

Sometimes you get lucky and a good guild will carry you a long way through your faction grind.

Coldain comes pretty quick. Much quicker than CoV imo.

Running around Kael and/or a ring war tagging giants that people are killing is pretty easy.

Another option if none of that is happening is:

A buddy (cleric) and I (enchanter) spent a couple hours killing giants in Eastern Waste. We posted up inside the giant fort and after we cleaned out the fort I would run to the orange shaded area and round up another 10-15 giants and pull them back to the fort. We would just root them all down as needed. Respawns seemed to be pretty fast.

Also around the Star there is a Dwarf on Coldain faction so you can con him every once and awhile to check faction. (Only need Kindly for armor)

Giants are only around lv.40 so they drop dead relatively fast. I charmed the captain inside the fort and he made quick work of everything else.

I would consider not "buying" faction, save your plat for other things. There's usually some Kael or WL action going on...stick something on Netflix etc and just be tagging along with some people killing ^^

Few rounds/cycles in platehouse should give you all the faction you need. High Apprehensive to Kindly doesn’t take long whatever route you take.

No need to waste money with quest components.
