the problem is your character is not in the database and therefore not possible to restore

Like I said again, no idea how that could possibly happen unless they don't even run backups of their servers... Browse my forum history, I'm clean as a whistle. This is the first post and last post I will ever make like this.

If you lost your character of years and hard work, don't act like you wouldn't try anything/everything to get him back. This wasn't a fresh 60 Rogue... Tons of history on this account.

It can't hurt, your last log there is from feb 12th, 2012, Post the "Welcome to project1999" message from when you logged in that day.

not sure it's reasonable to expect them to backup entire character database forever

imagine how much memory that would take, there's 100,000s of characters since server inception

I work with SQL Databases for a living, and we backup for 10 years millions upon millions of rows of data. I would think it would be simple for their 200,000 row table max to be backed up weekly if not monthly going back years.

I think there is much more to this issue than meets the eye... There is a reason items are deleted from several/every log in a database. And it's typically so tracks cannot be followed back to someone. Whatever happened, was on purpose... or all the logs for those years would be corrupt.

Just my 2 cents...

Most of the people in your IB/TR /w all logs are banned. Not likely to supply logs.

Thanks, I've been gone for along time... So not sure who would still be here or not. Just thought it would be fun to play this great server again. I'm sure everyone takes breaks from time to time.
