Yeah, that was kinda snarky of me, but keep leveling in dungeons and a person could have the plat for either a fungi or t-staff in no time. If one was patient, they could even hold out until August or September when the population is at a low and get them cheaper. If a person wanted to sell it though, between now and the end of February is the time to get the most plat for it.

Its not even confirmed there will be a 2h boost or monks getting triple attack. It is my contention that these will be seen as the Luclin pre-patch and never actually make their way to P99 but who knows really.
The melee revamp (triple attack for monks, 2h bonus, ranger buffs, attack table improvements) occurs in the same patch as the Chardok revamp, which has been confirmed, so it would be decidedly non-classic if they would choose to release Chardok without the melee buffs.

Yes it is confirmed. Yes it will happen. It is part of the same chardok 2.0 that has already been verified by server devs to be in the works. When? Who knows. Could be 2 weeks 2 months or 2 years.

IFS + Fungi >>> TStaff and no fungi.

The only drawback to selling TStaff now is the price will undoubtedly jump significantly even from where it is now when Chardok 2.0 patch hits. Knowing how the EC tunnel fat cats like to manipulate prices I wouldn’t be surprised to see a TStaff worth 3 fungis within a month or 2 of the patch hitting.

IFS will be BiS monk dps unless said monk has ToV level loot available.

But ... IFS at 38/40 is really damn close (minus the proc)

i have both, and if i have to choose one to keep, it will be fungi

if betting to make a fortune by stashing tstaff is a thing, there wouldnt be so many ppl selling tstaff in the market, and it's been going on for years

T staff went from 30k to 70k overnight when people started rumors, just rumors mind you, like a year ago about Chardok 2.0 and triple attack. Since then its settled back to near 40k, but its been proven how stupid people get with triple attack rumors and T staves.

Fungi and it aint close.

You'll hardly notice a difference between IFS and T Staff if you're rocking a fungi.

TStaff is clearly a better weapon than IFS at all levels....a 30 delay 2 handed weapon has a damage bonus of 17 at level 60. A 40 delay weapon will have a damage bonus of 18.

Post revamp, a 30 delay 2hander will have a 29 damage bonus at 60 and a 40 delay weapon will have a 34 damage bonus at 60 if they go by http://lucy.allakhazam.com/dmgbonus.html

Damage over time ratios at level 60 (no str mod) for IFS and TStaff:

((2 * DMG) + Bonus) / Delay

pre revamp:

IFS 2.35
Peacebringer 2.433
TSTAFF 2.5

post revamp:

IFS 2.75
Peacebringer 2.833
TSTAFF 2.9

TStaff is always the better weapon versus IFS. Peacebringer is better than IFS at level 60 (sooner than that) too... Once that damage bonus combines with the lower delay, the ratio is better than IFS.

I think fungi is more important than TStaff though, lots of good monk weapons available including IFS

Someone should post about Epic + Scepter of Mastery versus TStaff. Pre and post revamp.

At level 52 peacebringer has a 13 damage bonus and IFS has a 14 damage bonus.

(52-25)/2 for the 30 delay weapon and (52-25)/2 + 1 for the 40 delay weapon

((2*28) + 13)/30 = 2.3 > ((2*38) + 14)/40 = 2.25

So peacebringer is the better DPS weapon versus IFS at level 52
