The eye could see them, nazgul has the flying beasts. If the eagle was faster, let's say it is, and Gandalf did something besides make his staff give off flaming glows, they probably could have made a break for the volcano.

you crush and slash thru orcs but the only time you use the knockback spell is against saruman?

really bro? you have the power to destroy the balrog but you gotta fall all the way through lower earth to "level up"? lower earth has a higher ZEM than middle earth or something? you couldn't have just slashed through the balrog's chest in the dwarf caves?

LoTR only makes any sense when its considered as a metaphor for old pre-ww1 monarchical europe.

Gandalf the grey vs whatever he was afterwards... two entirely separate beings, guessing Gv2 the white, just had the greys memories not his personality or abilities. That sorta thing.

Plus it's magic. It probably requires balancing or something..since sauromon is stronger Gandalf gets bigger spells, around orcs tho that are more ugly than strong he just has showy moves.
