Default Wish there wasn't a hybrid penalty

Given the somewhat selective nature of what classic features are supported on P99 and that the hybrid penalty was admitted to be a mistake on live, I wish that were one of the "classic features" left out on this round.

Imagine a world where hybrids got groups.

They do. Most people don't think about the hybrid penalty because, get this, they play for fun!

I will still be playing a Paladin. I like the play style and enjoy tanking along with being able to save people. In the later levels, I was still able to solo when I wanted to.

The mistakes made by the original dev team were part of what made the game was it was (p99:is). We’re not looking at this as customers, nobody is trying to get us to buy it. All the changes made over the last 20 years were designed for them. From sales and customer service perspective, hybrid penalties are stupid... that’s why they were removed. For us, they get to be an extra challenge. When your Troll SK friend gets lvl 50, that’s a big deal. When mage #2,535 gets lvl 50, nobody cares. For a reason.

There are less hybrids than there would be. And no gnome SKs or halfling paladins. No guktans or drakkin or vah shits or beastlords. Cheers!

Don't forget Halfling Rangers. Makes me a little sad none of these are in, to be honest.
