Newbie begging for help
So yes, I'm an idiot, I've tried multiple times to get my corpse from East Karana (off a ledge near high keep) I'm going to petition, but i highly doubt it's GM worthy. Is there any kind soul that could assist me in getting back to it?

For future reference you can always let a corpse rot and then petition it. Will be restored likely overnight.
Good excuse to take a week off

By overnight what he means is anywhere from 1 day to 3 months. Don't let it rot

I’ve always felt like this puts more strain on GM’s so I’ve never let one rot
I also try to minimize begging for dial a port CR TP’s. So I will and have run my happy ass across the world for a CR. I think the longest was like an hour and half trek across the world naked, most of it waiting on shitty slow boats. Although if it was at the bottom of some sketchy dungeon and I’m going to die 5+ more times trying to get it than yea I would probably let it rot or pay some necro to summon it

They don't mind restoring corpses at all. If your online they'll even summon it to your feet, and maybe turn you into a froglok

But yea it was back when 50pp was a lot of money to broke ass me. I’m still broke now but since I can make 50pp in a few minutes I am far more likely to just run to a bank and buy a port Especially since I recently was waiting so damn long on the velious boats that I started to type up a forum post asking if they’re broken. Until it finally arrived [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] But this wasn’t for a CR

To the OP: one thing that I learned to do is right before I die out in the open world, type /loc (or use a hotkey), and write down the coordinates
Really helps with finding the corpse again sometimes
