Default EQ not 'saving'

Everytime I exit my client resets to whatever settings it was on the first time (Resolution, spell list quick loads, key bindings ect.)

Now, I took the file off of my computer and put it on my external drive so I could use my laptop as well. This almost just sounds like a directory goof on my part and any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same issue a year ago, I right clicked and ran as administrator, fixed my problem.
