I finally started a batch of prison hooch like I have always meant to... but there was no champagne yeast at Kroger, just regular yeast. We'll see what happens in a few weeks. Total rookie, might be repulsive when I try it. Always meant to try to do this.

Some young black track and field-looking chick with a perfect toned booty passed me on the trail today, hauling

My pace was fast enough to able to keep her in sight, a bad sign for her. Didn’t mind bein behind that booty though (in booty shorts). Noticed the signs of weariness at mid point, pushing off knees, stuff like that (I never use hands or push off anything)

Then at the 3/4 point, she was gone

Impossible, i thought. She sped up so fast that I couldn’t even keep her in sight at my pace, and she did it at one of the steepest parts? A girl, beating me that badly?

Nope, turns out she took a shortcut off trial to save energy while slightly slowing down, which is why I couldn’t see her. She finished about 3 min behind. And that was the only person to pass me out of a few hundred 3 days in a row, even if it was short-lived

I rerolled starkind on blue as a cleric incase I want to tab to green starkind and immediately ran into a cool necro who got me hooked up with 5 levels of red wine.

Then proceeded to hit up rebby and janam for some faction. Was a super chill nonviolent day just running around between npcs and stuff. Good times.

Stitches are out!

Fucking gross man, I hate the idea of being sliced into. I would never be a cutter. Gross gross gross gross, don’t cut me again ever

Dr signed my back to work form but said no lifting weights higher than 3-5lbs with the left arm for 3 fucking weeks! My upper body is wasting away. I’m thinking fine, no weight higher than 5 huh? I’ll just do 5lbs 800 times then…

Last memories of the now-gone stiches:

guess so, Dr said it looked good, not infected

He said massage around the incisions regularly to reduce the development of scar tissue. At first I thought ok I don't want to do that because scars are cool as shit. A scar shows you were stronger than whatever hurt you. But then I heard scar tissue can mean numb skin in that area, so meh, whatever I'll rub it every once in a while

grats on the clicky

Yeah scar tissue is like a piece of dead ass garbage rubber instead of good quality skin so massage it as much as you can get away with so you get get some good flesh there.

The scar will still remain but you're trying to let your body have good quality cells.

Shit didn't you learn your lesson not listening about getting that surgery way sooner??

When it comes to surgery and recovering from surgery and physical therapy shit, western medicine is pretty good.

When it comes to internal health all we have is anti biotics and vaccines and don't give a shit about anything else so you gotta look elsewhere.

But surgery we know about.

Oye, I fuckin hate it, even though I will admit Ortho Arizona surgery center was a well-oiled machine

I am a very slow learner when it comes to doing stupid shit to yourself physically, it’s a family trait. Last year my dad shut the entire Flagstaff Extreme Adventure course down for a rescue operation with him dangling tied up in ropes 18+ feet in the air with a torn pectoral muscle. All because he insisted on doing the highest challenge black Diamond course at almost 70 (and got halfway through it). We are tough but dumb about it

The doctor said no PT surprisingly, but I’ll still be putting it through its paces. And in 3 weeks (rounded down lol), when I can finally lift again, my plan for myself is:
