I've only messed around with it a bit. Its interface is very simple but it does support data-logging so you can connect and log it and do whatever you want with it. The battery life is good, and it uses just a regular AAA so no need to worry about replacing a rechargeable one.

I Just grabbed it, plugged it into the software and then grabbed a uranium glass bowl. It's pretty obvious when I put it near it:

Would I buy it again? I see it as more of a novelty type thing. It's not like I'm planning a trip to an irradiated zone anytime soon.

My "stance on vaccines" is that most vaccines, once they have been extensively developed, tested and analyzed for safety and efficacy, are perfectly safe and effective. All covid-19 vaccines have not undergone this testing, simply because they aren't old enough to have, by definition.

I have gotten tons and tons of vaccines for different illnesses, I'm not "anti-vax". But I'm young, healthy, and at very low risk of serious illness even if I GET covid-19 itself, which I did. And it was a mild cold, which is what it is for the vast majority of people. Get a grip.
