Default Temporary block on IP

Hey all, decided to give good old eq another swing for nostalgia's sake and even got my brother to come along for the ride but we've hit a problem; we can't seem to log on together presumably because we live together and we have the same ip. When one is on the other gets a message saying the ip is temporarily blocked. Is there a work around to this so we can play together? I was really hoping to enjoy a little blast from the past. Thanks in advance.

You have to request an exemption here: https://www.project1999.com/forums/f...splay.php?f=25

One of you could use a VPN in the meantime until you get your exemption.
