In 2019 someone surprised a graduating class by paying off all their student loans. Such a generous gesture but it really angered the prior year's class and the upcoming class because they weren't lucky enough to graduate at the same time and reap that unexpected windfall.

On the one hand you can say that 2019 graduating class is just damned lucky, but on the other hand you can say this was a totally unfair move, especially if you graduated in 2018 or 2020. Better thing to do would have been to set up a fund that gave smaller grants to all graduates with student loans from 2010-2030, or something like that.

There's no real way to do eliminate student debt in a totally fair way for all.

Make it be only students that voted for Biden. That’s the unspoken goal of picking this particular generation of indoctrinated graduates. Just run with it and say even if you have student debt, if you didn’t vote for Biden, you won’t get the gov’t to force others to pay it off for you via taxes

Student loans are a tough problem. We should stop issuing them, so that kids and families choose community colleges and cheaper public universities, but some people genuinely have debt that is debilitating

I wouldn’t mind paying up some money to help out, but half of it would be grafted away and that would piss me off. Also, doctors and lawyers hold the most student loan debt. They shouldn’t get anything
