What are some things you veterans wish you knew when you started.
Anything to help new players. This is not a RnF thread.

When starting out playing a class where gear is not super important can enhance your initial gaming experience.
Necromancer, Cleric, Enchanter, Druid, Mage, and Monk fit the bill. They are not super gear dependent and can do great things naked. Most melee classes take a huge hit compared with Spell casters until they are well geared. That may be months down the line if you are starting out. If you do end up sticking around for a while, then double back and make your 2nd character the one that requires gear/equipment rather than your first. | ||

Once you get used to a GCD reset clicker, you can’t imagine playing without one. A normal GCD feels like an eternity

That you only need to be sitting for med ticks, You can spend the rest of your time running around as long as you time your med ticks and get 90%+ efficiency
