The trick to fix Dynamic Lighting exists.

Find your EQCLIENT.INI file and change:
DYNAMIC LIGHTING = FALSE <- This is a 1 time change.

Log into the Green server.
Log out and back into Blue server.

Fixed.

I have had the urge to play after three weeks, but I know what is awaiting me with these graphics.

So I've been buying and playing some really old games from Good Old Games (www.gog.com). Granted, the graphics for these games are not cutting edge by today's standards, but at least they are not bleached out while the clip plane is wonky!

And I play solo, so I can only imagine what the game play is like in groups!

Bigger problem em seeing is that for whatever reason the lights keep flashing on and off rapidly in some areas. Not really catching epilepsy outta this but good grief it's getting annoying to look at. I don't know if the guy in the floor above me in Najena is trolling on purpose spamming lightstone on inventory slots or if this is caused by mage bolt line or what is going on, but the entire floor is like a really annoying disco right now.

Like some others have said, I bet that this will become higher-up on the devs' list once the Green/Teal timeline progresses far-enough along that Green/Teal players are also voicing these complaints.

That does appear to be pretty dang bright!

Thank you. This did work for me. I changed the file, right clicked on the file icon, selected to make it Read Only (just my paranoia at work), entered Teal with a character, exited out the program entirely, and then entered Blue with a banker alt in Felwithe. Instead of dealing with shock-white walls, it looked normal once more. Making it Read Only is more than likely unnecessary and probably a bad thing. I'll change it later when I need to.

My file says access denied when trying to change it.

This did not used to be the case.

Any ideas?

I kept an old install copy of Titanium on a thumb drive and when this 'we restored classic racial vision' bush league business was tossed in, I carefully went through exactly what files were in the V52 files and only included file content I knew was critical to play on P1999. I copied over nothing that I didn't have to. You could give that a try. If you know some coding, you can actually get around some of the alterations by using a good text editor.

From my point of view, I paid for my client disks back in the day and I reserve my right under NA consumer protection law to use my purchased software anyway I want in my own home as long as it doesn't give me an unfair advantage within any Emu.
