That being said mqing the hand does require you to turn in both your red and the prized green scale + all the permafrost camping items. So either trust the person doing it 100% or don't do it at all. I really saw no point in chancing your green scale away if you got that you should be able to get a hand yourself somehow.

Green scale was a real pita for me in classic. Spent a couple of weeks camping Sever, and then had to mobilize a force before someone else got there. Was beat out three times until it finally happened.
