create a new velious shortcut

Hello all,

I am trying to log in, every time I get to character select screen it says theres an error. . I believe ive done everything right, but I cant remember how to make a new shortcut... I have windows... can anyone break it down for me plz!!! im dying to play lol!

Make a shortcut to (your everquest directory)/eqgame.exe patchme

Make sure it is set to run from your eq directory too otherwise you will end up with files being created wherever you put the shortcut iirc.
