retroactively nerfed items
I need a consolidated list of items which have been retroactively changed, or will be retroactively changed.
Note: This is for items which have their existing stats changed, not ones replaced or removed altogether. I also need a rough estimate/time where these items need to change. If multiple changes happened within a single month according to patch history, we will likely include all of those changes into one. For example, the following items have been completed and associated with a standout occurance on the time line. Italicized = complete. Robe of Living Fungus - Hole Deepwater Helm - Epics Wurmslayer - Epics Burning Rapier - Kunark Barbed Scale Whip - Epics Mosscovered Twig - Epics Terror Forged Mask - Kunark Efreeti Standard - Epics Ragebringer - 2 weeks after Epics (October00) Bixie Sword Blade - Epic Revamps Incarnadine Breastplate - Epic Revamps Singing Steel Boots - Epic Revamps Singing Steel Greaves - Epic Revamps Gunthak Harpoon - Hole Imbued Granite Spauldors - November01 Antonican Javelins - July 2001 Donal's Chestplate of Mourning e.1.0 - Velious Donal's Chestplate of Mourning e.2.0 - Feb2001 Wurmslayer e.2.0 - Feb2001 Quivers haste - May2001 edits/reports from this thread (To Do List): Cleric Velious BPs e.1.0 - 03/06/2001 Cleric Velious BPs e.2.0 - 03/14/2001 More please. If you know the date, or a link to it, include it.

A lot of Velious weapons were upgraded... but not sure if you guys are/want to go through the trouble of changing them per timeline, many were changed fairly quickly after ToV got conquered.
*I'm mentioning upgraded in addition to nerfed because you listed Burning Rapier, which had its stats upped.

Ok, I'll start to piece together a list while it's slow at work today of everything I can think of. Some of it will require SS verification that I'll get later or someone can look up...
Adding stuff as I go, sorry if it's not pretty: -Mistwalker gets proc nerfed -Willsapper gets nerfed from 50% haste to 35% haste -Reaver gets upped from 35/45 to 40/40 -Mrylokar's Dagger get's nerfed to 12/16 then back to 15/19, proc nerfed from 100 lifetap to 90 over 3 ticks -Cloak of Venom gets upgraded - http://www.afterlifeguild.org/images/tov/cloakvenom.jpg -Axe of the Kromzek kings get upgraded - http://www.afterlifeguild.org/images...romzek_axe.jpg -Incardine BP should currently be clickable by anyone, gets nerfed in Velious to can equip -Robe of the Spring shouldn't be dropping - only a handful ever dropped on live before it was taken out. -Deepwater helm should be nerfed to 10 sec cast time -Bunch of things here were upgraded: http://www.afterlifeguild.org/templa...ndex_may_oct01 -Frostreaver gets upgraded from 36/46 "UPGRADE Quote Reply #Oct 08 2001 at 6:22 PMRating: Default Maarv 1 post The axe have been upgraded to 42 dmg 43 delay" More to come...

Should be clickable from inventory and usable by all. http://www.eqclerics.org/forums/show...ht=incarnadine http://www.eqclerics.org/forums/show...ht=incarnadine http://www.eqclerics.org/forums/show...ht=incarnadine Incarnadine Breastplate should be usable from inventory, as currently implemented it must be worn to activate the effect. Wearing it was made a requirement in the March 27, 2001 patch, post-Velious. http://www.tski.co.jp/baldio/patch/20010327.html Quote:

There's apparently not a lot of evidence about this, because only a few of the first VP guilds ever got any.
Check the item on alla, it was obviously posted years later as pretty much no comments or information exists about it. I'm certain it didn't drop: http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=46890

Was enough evidence ever gathered to correct this on blue/red?

Donal's Chestplate. Complete heal click first nerfed to 30s cast time and then later given some kind of cooldown effect as well.
