Default dgVoodoo2 Background FPS

I recently switched from WinEQ2 to dgVoodoo2 in an effort to avoid resetDevice() Failed errors. Everything seems fine so far except that now when I have another window focused besides eq, my framerate drops to like 10fps. Is there any fix for this?

take the d3d9.dll and rename it to WinEQ2-D3D9.dll and replace the one in wineq2's directory.
this will let you use wineq2 with dgVoodo2

I gave that a try, but it presented a new problem. With the dll replaced, WinEQ2 makes the window have a big gap below it so I can see all of my taskbar and a little more. No matter what I change my WinEQHeight or WindowedHeight to, it makes no difference other than scaling the imagine inside the window.

If you are looking for a borderless window solution try borderless gaming.

Link to a video I made on it with all the appropriate links to download.

I’m having all kinds of issues after trying this solution. So you don’t run the Nvidia installer in wineq2 at all only change the dll file? Do you install the program in wineq2 folder or in eq directory at all??
