Default Returning to Green.

I took a break last year but was active on Green in winter and spring of 2020 with a 30 Shaman and 30 Bard.

Going to reroll and play a solo class like a druid or necro for more casual and afk playing.

I did try Kunark when it came out but noticed that the EC trading tunnel was empty. Where do people trade?

Also any huge deployments since I have been gone nearly a year?

You should consider keep playing your Shaman, level 30 is a great level in Kunark/Velious. Lots of camps open up and the gear is less expensive and substantially better.

Obviously your own journey, so do what makes you happy.

I agree with the Shaman idea. My main is a shammy and the class just gets better and better as it ages and you'll get a real power boost at level 34 when you get your pet. However, Shaman gets really expensive when you want to complete your spellbook and shammy tools near level 60. If that's not your cup of tea then ya, go with necro for sure if you have an idea that you want to solo in dungeons as well. Having that FD option to put EQ on hold sure is powerful.
