Question Character Select Resolution?

I recently upgraded to a 4k monitor and I'm on the fence about the higher resolution.
For many games I play its awesome but naturally with Everquest the higher resolution doesn't mean more visibility or beautiful graphics but simply smaller UI.

I've come to accept the effects of a smaller UI in game play but regardless of the monitor I'm using, some characters show up in the character select screen too tall and I am unable to see their name, class, or level above their heads.

Code:
[VideoMode]
WindowedWidth=3830
WindowedHeight=2070
Width=1280
Height=720
FullscreenBitsPerPixel=32
FullscreenRefreshRate=0
Is there a fix for this?

Screen resolution is set to 3840x2160 with windowed mode slightly smaller to allow me to see the start bar in windows. This problem persists in fullscreen as well.
