Default Pillars of Eternity II released today!

I'm stoked. The first was as good as any cRPG I've played.

Really disliked the first one. It had a good story, but the character building was boring and the combat was either cheesy or exploits. Oh and the obnoxious kickstarter elements everywhere all over the game.
was disappoint in the lack of city building and city management elements that were promised.

if this didnt flesh that aspect out i have 0 interest

The combat was awful, and the kickstarter fan characters all over the place were obnoxious and bizarre. Let's be honest, the graphics and gameplay would have been cutting edge in about 1994. But the writing was good, and for that alone I might check out the sequel.
