Was dot dmg doing less on moving targets classic?
Before they removed dot dmg reporting on green, I saw moving targets being hit for less than full dmg. You have to root or fear to get full dmg. B4 I make a bug thread I need to ask:
Is that classic? | ||

I thought I recalled it as not being classic, meaning that dots did full damage. That being said I only played a necro up to like level 25 in 1999 and I very well could be wrong.

So, if I understand correctly, the only time dot damage is less than full, is when applied to a moving target?
If target is stationary before spell lands, it can run the entire duration of the spell and each tick will be for full 100% damage?

It would be 66% drifting death dmg on the snare kill if it wasn't working as intended, so that 22 dmg shouldn't matter. movin 2 resolved [You must be logged in to view images. Not 100% sure what you guys are saying. At release DoT damage was full regardless. They then nerfed it to reduced damage on targets that are chasing (dmg remained full on feared/fleeing targets).
