New to p99 what class is most needed?

Its often classes that ‘have no raid role’ which I find missing from raids. Things like paladins, rangers, even shaman and enchanters. Of course the truth is these do have valuable raid roles, but people don’t want to be boosting other players tanking or dps when they could just bring their own chart topping dps instead.

I have an alternate explanation for this:

Week 1: "we don't need 6 of X can some of you swap?"

Week 2: "we don't have any X can someone swap?"

not on a land, but the resist aggro is beefy. 7 minutes of slow aggro all at once

Hey everyone thanks for the advice and feedback. I began a Necro Ikky, on Green and have played a few 3hr sessions. So far and I have had a blast! I got to level 9 and have found several other necros hanging out in the pit to group with. I really enjoy the classic feel of the game. Two quick questions. 1. Who are the leveling guilds and how do I join them? 2. If there is no general chat how on earth do I find people outside of my current zone to group with or chat with? 1. All guilds will gladly invite you, but I’ll bet the guilds with the most people to group with in the 1-50 range will be Ancient Blood (Iksar-only), Friendly Druids, Mutiny, Safe Space, or Castle. Other guilds might exist too.

2. Manually. Ideas:
• not everyone uses /lfg on, but if they do:
/w all 20 30 lfg

• need a tank? Do all of the following:
/w all warrior 20 30
/w all paladin 20 30
/w all shadow 20 30
/w all monk 20 30
Maybe ranger too

• looking for people of level near you? Check all nearby zones:
/w all warslik 20 30
/w all overthere 20 30
/w all cab 20 30 (that should check both east and west btw)
/w all field 20 30

no regard for shaman as such. just take the rez and spend the next 4 minutes casting cannibalize and torpor

I think i figured out why noone plays shaman on raids lol

yeah that sounds awful

we used to do a group of slowers w/ a mage and wiz...insta tash, take TL box, coth back up

slow lands, rips aggro, TL box, coth back, etc

again only really necessary on quakes / competitive engages but most of the shit is just trained away i guess now
