Cheap / easy to acquire monk DoT proc.

I'm turning over PHs at OOT on my monk slightly fearful that I am upsetting the much beloved barkeep Clurg (and his CraknekWarrior allies).

Is there a DoT proc I could be using so to FD when the npc is at low hp, thus killing the npc while flopped and avoiding faction hit?

Alternatively will I need to be using a summoned pet to achieve this? The only cheap one I can think of is the brazier of elemental summoning, could that even do the last 12% hp to a level 20 mob?!
