Characters deleted!

Tried to login to red today and all my characters are gone. So are my characters on blue... I'm assuming someone got my login info.

Anyone I could talk to or?

I'd honestly rather see the person responsible have their shit deleted than get mine back, whoever went through the trouble is far more invested than I.

https://www.project1999.com/forums/f...splay.php?f=25 ... but first make certain that you are logging into the correct account (if you login to the wrong one, and it has no characters on that server, it will look identical to what you're describing).

I only see 2 login accounts under my EQEMU account and they aren't on either but ty for link.

It's possible that your other account(s) might not be associated with that EQEmu account. I'd recommend trying every username/password combo you use regularly, to see if maybe you can access the missing account.

If you can't, the staff might be able to help you find the account (at that same link) ... but they might not, because on their end the two accounts might appear completely separate.

The response you will probably get is the staff warns people of account sharing. Basically nobody shares their main unless they are an Uber noob.

How secure would you say your password was? When did you last log in yourself?

PW was probably considered weak! and I've logged into other emus with similar logins but never the same. I haven't logged in for a year or more I'd guess.

Staff hasn't responded at all =/

Give them time to respond Phil. Takes time. If someone deleted without you giving them access; they will be reimbursed.
