Yeah, you can see one rathe mountain just up from the feerrott, he left one kinda on its own, you can compare it to the map on the wiki, then above it he pasted a few more on top of each other so the space lined up.

ah, so a full interconnected map would look “wrong” if viewed from Norrarth airspace
is that right?

Basically. Best to think of our Rathe Mountains as a small section of the whole range

heres a generic map i made for my book ill never finish writing. It's just one part of the world, but the center of the human civilizations biggest city, where our orphaned elf hero 's childhood trials would develop.

yeah its like a fine wine, just takes a decade or so to age(complete). I want to take the "world building" approach such as tolkein and george r.r. martin that I think it's fun to focus on the worlds history, regions, culture, religions, etc. so that you are not just reading a story, but a specific piece of that worlds history. It's a great excuse to avoid writing and working on other stuff instead. I can't wait to start figuring out the logic behind the economics of each city/town and how they interconnect to a giant human city.
