Default Wolf Form running animation.

Wolf form looks like im running in slow motion when moving forward yet the animation when moving backwards is fine. Something that is easily solvable? Or is this intended?

I tried to do some research on this but I pulled up nothing. I was really looking for video. Can someone tell me if this is classic or just messed up?

I don't think it's classic. It's probably using the new wolf form animation speed with the old wolf form model.

I think this is actually working the way its supposed to, though I could be wrong.

I don't think it's classic though. maybe someone else has some extra insight?

They redid on live something somewhere before Kunark that changed the wolf form, which basically ruined it IIRC.

People have been complaining about it since about 6 months after launch.

The new wolf model had a ridiculously slow running animation as well. The combat animation was also weird and sluggish....

I wish I knew how to get started tinkering with something like this. I've been bitching about stuff like this long enough - high time I was judged myself.

Too slow is a little better than too fast, I suppose ... anyone remember the mach 2.0 zombie shuffles from EQ2... ?

I disagree, I think they look just dreadful. They run like how they should look whilst swimming.

I don't get it. The run animation going backwards is fine. Just running forwards looks like I'm swimming.

The movement of the current wolf model isn't accurate. This is a bug, that is well known on our side.

We chose to have the 'slow real wolf' with 'real skeletons'. They are mutually exclusive.
