Green Flower of Functionality and Resist Poison Should Stack

It is certainly buffing Poison now as I found out it was alrdy bugged once, however the poison buff currently is not stacking with resist poison and it appears these buffs should stack.

These are logs from Beta server after completing the Green Flower Quest

[Tue Dec 02 20:35:37 2014] You begin casting Resist Poison.
[Tue Dec 02 20:35:42 2014] You feel resistant from poison.

[Tue Dec 02 20:35:45 2014] You begin casting Aura of Green Petals.
[Tue Dec 02 20:35:45 2014] Your Green Flower of Functionality begins to glow.
[Tue Dec 02 20:35:47 2014] Your resist poison fades.
[Tue Dec 02 20:35:47 2014] You are covered by an aura of green petals.

So Green Petals buff overwrote Resist Poison.

[Tue Dec 02 20:35:55 2014] You begin casting Resist Poison.
[Tue Dec 02 20:35:59 2014] Your spell did not take hold.

According to Wiki

The green flower (4 knight cards) give +50 poison resist and it seems to stack with just about everything including Resist Poison.

The GREEN flower STACKS. That is: you can have the single-resist spells (Resist Poison) or the Talisman (Poison/Disease) SHM spell, NEC spell Dead Man/Men Floating, AND Aura of Green Petals all at once, raising your Poison Resist by:
(40 or 65) + 70 + 50 = 160 or 185 points. You can also throw the bard resist song(s) on top of this, raising it even further. GREEN flower is awesome!

Black flower does NOT stack with Resist Disease or Talisman (SHM) line, so it is good for those times when these buffs aren't available, or as a quick clicky-buff.

I have not tested either one with the POTION resist buffs. I suppose I should. ;-p

I have not yet gotten the Red or Blue flowers (and never probably never get the blue one unless they change/remove the quest in the upcoming revamp, which is possible), so I cannot say for sure if they stack or not. The most popular hearsay is that they do not, or did not, but this may have been changed.

(Also, there are a few items with Flower effects from Vex Thal, which makes them "easier to get" haha - sad, but perhaps true.)

*note* : For those interested - The Plane of Mischief is no longer a bindable zone (you get the "You cannot develop an affinity for this place - try a city instead" message. This was changed recently (around September 1st? roughly) in anticipation of the upcoming revamp.

Yeah, Trilogy spdat lists effect of Aura of Green Petals in slot 5, but p99's spell file has it in slot 1.

If Kunark was any indication, the staff is going to be hand-editing maddening little discrepancies noticed in individual spells long into the release of Velious. What's really needed is a tool to generate a valid spell_us file from the contents of old spdats.

Fire, Cold, Magic didn't stack.

Poison stacked with everything
Disease stacked with something I forget if it was Resist or something else, would need to investigate.

Here was the result of my research many months ago -

Blue Flower - MR - Does not stack with GMR
Black FLower - DR - Does not stack - Targetable for a time
Green Flower - PR - Stacks - Targetable for a time
Red Flower - FR - Does not stack
White Flower - CR - Stacks

During Velious, all the regular resist (single target and the group versions) shared the same slots if I recall when I researched this.

Note that currently single target and shaman group are both +40 pr and dr, there is no difference; That is a defect.

Currently not stacking on p99. Anyone else have info on this?
