That this is happening now is terrible! Couldn't the administration have organised distance learning? Do you think this terrible event could have been prevented? I think so. The administrations of universities and all educational institutions in general should have organised distance learning. I understand that in this form students can use help with homework, for example here https://ca.edubirdie.com/homework-help or on other way. There are many sites but I think it is not worth it and it is better to trust the students. I think it's just the negligence of security and administration. What do you think?
Students should be allowed to study at home. Paying attention to all quarantine restrictions and everything else is just a necessity. Especially, many institutions only benefit from it. I do not understand why this has not been done.

No, distance learning is not the solution to this cultural/societal problem.

Kids used to bring guns to school and noone got shot.

This is a failing of our declining society and culture.
Yes, indeed, I missed that point. I agree with you. Full-time education is first and foremost an opportunity for socialisation of the student and perhaps this will lead to a reduction in such cases. A person's socialisation is very important and if a student is not in contact with reality at least once a week it might just drive him/her crazy and affect his/her mental health. Also, students may indeed seek help with homework on the side of services such as this one: https://ca.edubirdie.com/homework-help just to free up time for more important or not-so-important tasks. Still, it seems to me that in today's world, especially with our pandemics, distance learning makes some sense, but should not be abused.

Yeah kids need conditioning at a state run fascililty if we're gonna force them to fit into this technocratic nightmare we call life now.

My four year old can read, write, and is starting basic algebra. My two year old is starting to read sight words fairly well.

The plan is to just keep homeschooling and have them test out of HS around 10 years old then they can do whatever with their evil powers of deduction and independent thought.

School shootings are the result of a sick society. Has nothing to do with weapon availability (We brought our guns to class for boyscout shooting in 1993)

Imagine being a parent, your child asks you a question, and you answer, " I don't know " The confusion that gives the child is immense. Entire generations of kids think their parents are idiots ( lots are ) If I don't know something, the correct answer is, " Lets find out! "

I didn't have kids to send them away for 8 hours a day to be taught to hate me by complete retards following a flowchart.
