YOU HAVE BEEN DISCONNECTED

Hi, all - I am a brand new player, just installed Titanium and the Project 1999 files today. I have been looking forward to playing - I was an avid EQ player back in the 90s. Anyway, I've gone through character creation a bunch of times tonight, and each time I finish up with creating my character, I immediately get a black screen with 'YOU HAVE BEEN DISCONNECTED.' displayed. Then I'm back to the login screen.

I've found several forum posts with others expressing this same problem, but no solutions that I can try. Anyone have any suggestions? Is there a step I am missing?

You are likely trying to create race/class combination that is not classic and out of the Classic/Kunark/Velious era. No Halfling Rangers or Gnome Shadowknights here

Aha! Thank you. That was exactly it. I started playing right after the Luclin expansion and didn't realize halfling rangers were not available prior. I'll try another class! Thanks!!
