I guess maybe if you have to make up some kind of a rule. I always knew time of death so I just logged in, pulled, and killed.

Not made up rules, this is what was told by GM's whenever someone petitions, word of mouth spreads or people dont believe that word of mouth and petition then get the same response.

Just like how vilefang is a camp and if you are there first killing the entropy serpents then vilefang is your camp.

whats stopping the paladin doing the camp himself? A soulfire benefits an entire raid force of 40+ people whereas a paladin epic benefits one person, could be argued that the needs of the many outweighs the needs of the few

It’s really a shame that if someone kills Jentry once they can prevent a hero from swooping in and luring Lucan away to certain death at the nearest zone line. It’s how legends do it [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

The way I see it is if I log in, and see someone at the camp, I ask them if they are camping Lucan, they say yes, I leave. If I log in, and I don't see anyone there, I pull Lucan and kill. It isn't a big deal. I am not trying to screw anyone.

Well, technically I was the one that killed this Lucan, because I joined the guy who had the camp and he had to leave before Lucan ever spawned. :/

But, to people who think it's hidden rules and whatnot - it's not like that if you just look at the big picture. For anything, you have to be in a camp and killing things and prove you're actually playing the game. Otherwise you could just flop in the room for a week and claim it - which people try to do - and that's a much bigger problem. These rules aren't really as insane as people make them out to be. Definitely a lesser evil in the grand scheme of P99 rules.
