Albion was made by all the good eve online devs, why the pvp is so good. their absence in eve is very much felt.

I completely agree with you! I play PC games only when it's something simple and not too engaging. I really enjoy playing GTA from time to time or just wandering around the game world, but I don't have so much time to dedicate to it. On PC, I either play something that quickly gets boring or I play online games, because it's impossible to play them for long time.

My friends recommended to join them playing Valheim not so long ago, so that's what I've been playing recently.

I've always loved survival games, but finding one that engages you as Valheim does is really hard. Everything is fun about this game, and even the less-desired grinding of ores and other hard-to-get items is fun. It has something for just about everyone (building, surviving, combat), and though it can be brutal sometimes, it is fair.

I don't know if others play it, though this game is very popular, but we rent a private server for $8 that can keep up to 10 players. If anyone's interested, we have 2 free places. Or, you could rent your own. We got ours from supercraft.host.

Still working my way through BG 3, awesome game.

Helldivers 2 as well is a lot of fun, but IMO only if you have a dedicated group of people to play it with. Not as fun with randoms as it's pretty repetitive so having friends to play it with makes the ridiculous moments in it better.

i enjoyed helldivers for the first 50 hours or so...then i eventually upgraded my ship and found basically zero increase in strength vs the hardest difficulties and it just stopped being fun

Yeah the scaling definitely needs work. Plus just completely bullet sponge enemies at the hardest levels isn't that enjoyable either...kind of lazy design IMO.

But the good thing is the devs are super engaged with it/the community so I wouldn't be surprised if things change substantially over time.
