WinEQ2 settings for bad lag/FPS
Installed WinEQ2 in hope of getting rid of the bad lag in busy areas. Something is slowing my FPS way down. I Right click the WinEQ2 in the tray and go to preferences for Everquest. The cpu affinity is on. Does the playnice option do anything and what are the limiter off/on supposed to be? I set the actual background and foreground to 60 on all. Read somewhere to do it at 100? Or is it better to have the play nice off?
Any advice to help with the lag/choppy/FPS would be great. Would like to run the game with the density and level of detail on to enjoy the 20 year old graphics! Thanks! | ||

If Nvidia, try going to control panel and limited fps to 100, or 144, whatever you're monitor refresh rate is. sometimes my eq fps locks to 37 if my fps isn't limited for some reason
