Unless the seller tags the auction with "OBO", I'm assuming that item is not open to haggling. And if I do make an offer and it gets refused because the price is firm, my jimmies remain calm.

That every item is supposed to be haggled is extreme to me.

Let me put it this way. If someone were selling a FBSS for 1kpp, a ridiculously lowball price, I would STILL try and haggle that person for a better deal. Why? Because even though they're selling the item for ridiculously cheap, they may not know what the thing is worth and I might still be able to get a better price out of them.

The best traders haggle for every nickel and dime they can.

Well there's always another sucker to take advantage of. Buy as low as you can haggle for and then jack up the price and wait for an interested buyer to haggle you, and still make a solid profit.
