Question Surefall Glade on Green?

I want to be a Half-Elf ranger in Qeynos. BUT..It suddenly hit me. Will Surefall Glade even be a zone initially on the GREEN server at start? If not, where will rangers train etc. ? Will they be forced to start in Kelethin? [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I believe Surefall Glade will be in. Jagged Pine Forest will not. You will still spawn in North Qeynos though so it will be a walk to get your tunic.

Paineel is in question, so maybe not. My memory is hazy, but I'm pretty sure they started in Qeynos.

Edit: I meant Jeggedpine

Surefall glade is a classic zone. But as stated on P99 they have the wrong spawn in and bind points for druids and rangers.

Surefall Glade was in at launch, I did a Half-elf Druid as one of my first characters in EQ. It's pretty much the same as it is now on Blue. You will start in Qeynos but can bind over there as soon as you get the spell.

It's definitely a classic zone and I bumped a bug thread with evidence that druids/rangers should start there, and be bound outside.

I'll be happily surprised if they get proper race/class combo's to start in surefall.

Would that be a difficult technical thing to do? Or just something they might not have time for?

I would not think so. I remember when red99 was in beta I noticed the qeynos spawn point was incorrectly too close to the city gate guards, which could of led to some bind point camping by guards for the more evil people if they messed with their faction a tad. I checked (on EQmac back then) and got the correct loc for the fix.

Put a bug report in if there is not already one.

It doesn't take much effort to find the previous bug reports on this topic of sureful glade start. I believe the consensus was that it actually was classic (a classic bug) that some druid/ranger combos that should start in Surefall actually start in Qeynos.
