Launched on phone yesterday and PC today. Free to play with the caveat that its a shitty mobile game that will microtransaction you to death if you allow it. I played for a few hours last night, pretty fun so far, give it a whirl!

It doesn't work on 90% of galaxy phones lol.

Poor devs don't even have phones to test on!

I downloaded it but I havent yet even tried to play it. I have a galaxy phone, let's see if it fails to launch!

P2W games almost all stink anyways, so I am keeping my expectations low

p2w is fine if u don't have an addictive gambling personality

cuz u get bored quick and it's a 15 min diversion and it doesn't matter if ur first loot box opens within 10 years

it's bad when kids get a hold of money for the first time in their life and they've been grinding that lootbox every day of their highschool senior year and they finally have their first job and they realize they can just buy lootboxes and the inevitable slide into entrainment destroys people by turning them into whales

honestly it's something i'm hesitant to crack down on with the government because i'm tired of treating everyone like a child, but at some point ppl just need to lose their freedom before it becomes a big mess and they are on the A train waving a gun around cuz they didn't get their dopa hit.

if Android Google store had loads of FOSS games and community made games and stuff for ppl that whwere completely free and about the art sure... would blunt this

only certain studios are allowed to pump out titles on the IoS and Apple and Android stores and stuff so...

yes someone could break into it with an indie studio, but u still gotta buy into the system to get advertised and published - gaming industry has quite turned into the music industry....

Like I said if you are a spirituall devoid person u will fill ur life with lootboxes and demons instead of going to church and baking pancakes with wholesome non-bromided flower

same problem as everything else and it's not even unique to games. PPL do the same thing in other aspects of life.

maybe diablo immortal isn't pay 2 win idk it's a mobile game tho so chances are super slim they aren't going to rake in $300+ a year from some ppl with little self control some how some way

otherwise the gameplay looked cute probably still not as good as d2 (from what I saw)

it's crazy they expect phones to do these shiny graphics and not explode batteries and stuff

a few years ago I played that reef fish game where u get on every day and click fish and collect new fish i never bought anything from it tho and when i felt pressuredd I immediatly stopped, I did get some small enjoyment out of it, until I realized the ppl behind the game were evil foreigners and satanists.

yet i still play wow so there ya have it --- again

diablo immortal will find it's niche if they can get over the bad launch press lawl

---- oh yeah hearthstone got redic with platinum gold booster packs n stuff from what I was told.
