Default Can't zone crashes

Hello,

I played this game for the last 3 days. Logged in and out many times. As of today, I couldn't log into my character. I tried deleting and reinstalling 3 times. I could get in, but as soon as I zoned the game would go to not responding after several minutes. I can't think of anything else to try, I've been trying for several hours. Any ideas on what could be going wrong?

Try to run eqgame.exe under windows xp sp 2 or windows me. There's a lot of info on faq that might be of use too. They're some who say use a VPN and it works as well.

Last thing move eq folder from program files. Not sure why but it'll crash at character select if it is.

You'll have to go to faq or wiki you need to set up ini file options or use wineq. I just set my resolutions in eq client in file and hit alt then enter when in game. You'll still get reset errors once in a while it's a dx9 issue with this client.
