I got an exemption to play with my dad a couple months ago. The exemptions seem to be done in bulk on a single date. It's just a matter of patience. You will get your chance to enjoy the 20 year old elf and pixel sim with your friend.

@Elfangor did yours get approved? How long did it take? Wondering when the last batch got approved.

I submitted mine on 11/22/18 and was granted it on 12/10/18. Was very happy as was able to use it over the holidays!
