Default Crashing while zoning

Not sure whats causing this issue, but I'v heard of people fixing this by running WinEQ2. You can get it from http://www.lavishsoft.com

Try it and let me know.

Doesn't fix anything. I crash just as often with it as without it, and on top of that Lavish hasn't been able to keep their registration servers up for crap lately. If they're down, the software won't load or let you launch EQ.

yah i am still having zone crashing issues. It just freezes between zones. Wineq2 didnt do much :/

Tried it - It does not work. I crash about 80% of the time I zone. ><

WinEQ2 seemed to fix all of my problems. I am running it in XP SP2 compatibility mode, though. It didn't work at all in 7. Thanks for the recommendation!
I hope you guys get everything sorted out. I know your pain.

Well you guys are going to have to help me out with reproducing this issue, because I don't crash when I zone. If you can find out whats causing it, we might be able to fix it.

I run Windows 7, 32bit. My brother also has the same problem runs vista. It never happened till last Saturday around 1-2am CST? when the server went all crazy. Since then its happened to me. I basically pray every time I zone.
